Fun with my beautiful cousins

Whoa, I guess I have kinda took a little hiatus from blogging. I just love the summer time so much so every day that it is nice out, I wanna take the chance to get out and enjoy it, so I really have been slacking :( My bad

Anyway, I went home about two weeks ago and did some fun pictures of my lil cousins. I love being able to play in the tall weeds and explore the countryside when I go home, and even better when I can take kids on adventures with me. The only bad thing about the photos I took of Hannah and Grace was the mosquitoes.  Who knew it was the state bird in South Dakota. I honestly can say that I have never seen or heard anything like it. There was a constant hmmmmmmmm across the countryside from the lil' buggers. It was totally worth the 25 bites I got all over my body cause the images turned out soooooo cute!!  What beautiful children :) I also captured some images of baby Miles (4 Months) and Mason (2).  Sarah is definitely a busy mom. Her lil' guy Mason is just like my little guy, energy central and into everything. Such a fun family :)

This is definitely one of my favorites from the weekend. There was a nice lightning show going on behind us...I just love the blue sky!!

Ava & Alex

Last week I had the opportunity to take some newborn pictures of baby Alex and three year pictures of miss Ava.  They are such a sweet fun family, and their kids are just the cutest! I made Ava put on the tutu, (she insisted on wearing her pink rain boots) and I actually thought I was going to be leaving there without my tutu. She didn't want to take it off.  It was so cute :)  

Speaking of tutu's...for any of you parents out there that have the need for tutus or very cute, trendy baby clothes, check out the new store up in Maple Grove called  edelweiss baby  It is one of the cutest baby stores I have been in, and it just opened up.  The owner did such a fabulous job with the decor and she even has a baby powder air freshener, so awesome!!  If you are up in the area, go and check it out, it is definitely worth visiting.  

This picture is probably one of my all time favorites....you can see the dandelion seeds flying away, and her rain boots are hilarious!!

Cutie Pies

Wow, did I ever mention that I love my job!! Every client I meet always brings some sort of happiness to my life. I met Steph at sports mania, and I actually asked her if I could photograph her cute kids for some new stuff that I am working on, and she happily agreed. Her kids are adorable, and we had a great time walking the streets of St.Paul. Thanks for bringing your little ones out to play, I had a great time!

Growing up so fast!

Last week I took some really fun 9 month pictures of little tanner. He was such a ball of joy and a little trooper since it had just started to mist and was a little chilly.  Gotta love all his fun smiles and frowns!!   

Then on sunday of last week I took miss Shelby's 18 month pictures. I have been taking her pictures ever since she was a newborn, and wow how time flies. She had so much energy and was running all over the place. I can tell that she keeps mom and dad on their toes :)  Thanks for the fun, tears :( and laughter, I had a blast!!

i love it when little kids throw fits, i just think it is the cutest thing. Moms usually don't, but I love it. 

3 months of happiness

Here are just a few pictures of Ellie that I took last weekend when I was home.* Little Ellie is 3 months now and I can't believe how much she has changed. I was just out there in January taking her newborn pictures and now she is a totally different lady :)  I am so glad I get the privilege of documenting my nieces and nephews lives. It is such a blessing. 

*this is my mama's carpet/grass. Seriously look at this stuff. I think she sings to it every night before she goes to bed, that is why it looks like it came from heaven :)  love you mom

Adventures with Luke

Last weekend I went home to the farm and I was blessed to be able to take photos of two of my nieces and nephew Luke. I will put a few up of my nieces later, but we had such a great time exploring the countryside around my parents farm. He was such a great little model, and it was totally worth the wood ticks that we had on us when we got back home. Man those little things are nasty :(  Thanks for the fun big man, I loved every second of it!!

Photo Play Date

I had such a great time last weekend photographing these two little cutie pies! I photographed them about two years ago now, and I fell in love with them and their family. Their parents are so sweet and so much fun. I am working on a new website and I needed some new stuff for it, and I knew that these two would be perfect candidates. Thanks so much for letting me play with your little guys, I had so much FUN! Your family is beautiful.
